Pete Tormey – Owner
Umass Lowell PES , OPT, CES & CPT
Pete Tormey is president and founder of Athletic Performance Training, with facilities located in Falmouth and Canton, Ma. After a successful college and pro hockey career, Pete turned his passion for performance training into his profession. Pete developed APT to prepare athletes and adults for success in sports, academics and life. Pete enjoys drawing and spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their sons, Jake and Crosby.
wyatt lawrence – Performance Coach
Westfield State Bachelors Exercise Science
Wyatt grew up in Sexsmith, Alberta where he developed his passion for strength and conditioning while playing hockey. After four years of junior hockey with stops in the NWJHL, AJHL, and SIJHL, he committed to Westfield State University where he played for three seasons. While at Westfield State he majored in Exercise Science, expanding his knowledge on his passion for strength and conditioning. In addition to his studies, he interned at Full Plate Strength and Conditioning, and was hired as a coach following his internship. Upon graduation he suited up for one game for the Delaware Thunder of the FPHL, getting a taste of pro hockey before being hired at APT. Wyatt enjoys hiking, cooking, and getting out on the ice as much as possible in his spare time.
Nick Hardin – Performance Coach
Springfield College Bachelors Applied Exercise Science & Physiology
Nick grew up in East Falmouth, MA, where he developed a passion for strength and conditioning from a young age. Until his senior year of high school, Nick played for the Falmouth Soccer Club and the Falmouth High School Soccer team. Following his passion for strength and conditioning, Nick attended Springfield College, graduating with his bachelor's degree in applied exercise science and physiology. Throughout his degree, Nick completed internships with New England Functional Fitness, APT, and Full Plate Strength and Conditioning to grow his coaching experience. Nick enjoys traveling, fishing, and soccer.
thomas alves – Performance Coach
Westfield State Bachelors Exercise Science & Coaching Minor -CSCS
Thomas grew up in East Falmouth MA and graduated from Falmouth high school in 2019. During his time in high school, Thomas participated in APT semi private training which helped him start his weight loss journey where he lost over one hundred pounds. Thomas played football and track in high school as well as did amateur mixed martial arts for three years. Thomas went to Westfield State University for business but soon discovered his passion for performance training and made the switch to exercise science and coaching. Thomas became an NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist the summer before his senior year of college. He completed his senior internship here at APT in the winter of 2024 and graduated from WSU in May of 2024. Thomas enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with his brothers.
nolan enneguess – performance coach
Nolan grew up in Falmouth, Massachusetts where he found his passion for the game of lacrosse and athletic performance training. He committed to Stony Brook University after high school to play Division 1 Lacrosse. After two years, he transferred to UMass Amherst to continue his lacrosse career. Nolan also got the opportunity to represent team USA U-19 box lacrosse team in 2018. His fifth year of college he decided to play with his younger brother at Stevenson University. He interned with Universal Athletic Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as well as Mike Boyle's Strength and Conditioning in Woburn, Massachusetts. Nolan also coaches lacrosse for Falmouth High School and led them to the State Championship in 2023. He coaches for the one of the most prestigious club teams in the country, 3D New England, and is a Face-Off Academy coach, working alongside the best face-off guys in the country.
